Foundation for Premature Infants Awards Five Scholarships

Phoenix, AZ, – April 13th, 2019 – Today, at the 2019 National Association of Neonatal Therapists (NANT) conference, Lisa Bader, Founder of the Shape Right System, and Foundation for Premature Infants board member awarded five $500 scholarships to the 2020 NANT conference.

The Foundation for Premature Infants donated the scholarships to be used for continuing education for therapists that care for premature infants, the most fragile vulnerable little people. The winners work their collective magic at Swedish American Hospital, Rockford, IL, URMC Golissano Children’s Hospital, Rochester, NY, Del Sol Medical Center, El Paso, TX, Baptist Memorial Healthcare, Memphis, TN, and St. Luke’s Hospital, Marion, IA.

“I’m over the full moon excited FPI has raised enough money to be able to award these five scholarships,” said Michael D. Litten, Founder. The Foundation’s core belief is, as Horton said so succinctly and eloquently: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
