Roswell, GA – November 11th, 2022 – FPI is honored and delighted to be able to provide $1,000 to sponsor a kangaroo care educational program for a winner of the 24-hour Global Kangaroo-a-thon on World Prematurity Day on November 17th, 2022.
The Foundation for Premature Infants donated the money for a kangaroo care educational program so these brilliant clinicians can stay current regarding best practices on how to care for premature infants, the most fragile vulnerable little people. Yamile Jackson, founder of www.nuturedbydesign.com said, “You have always been so generous with your time, your knowledge, and your funds. We appreciate it.”
“I’m excited FPI has raised enough money to be able to fund this program in conjunction with World Prematurity Day,” said Michael D. Litten, Founder. The Foundation’s core belief is, as Horton said so succinctly and eloquently: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
