30 Apr Lisa Chiburis Bader Presents Check to Avery McKennan Hospital NICU
Roswell, GA, – April 30th, 2019 – Foundation for Premature Infants board member, Lisa Chiburis Bader, presented a $1,500 check to Avery McKennan Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Theresa Baustian, PT, Acute Therapy Supervisor said, “Thank you again so much for taking time to come to Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls to not only share your expertise with our team, but to also provide us with a generous donation for continuing education for our NICU therapists.”
Michael D. Litten, Founder, commented “this fits perfectly with our mission to use the money donated to the FPI for education purposes for the stellar group of clinicians that work with these most vulnerable fragile little people on a daily basis.”
“I’m delighted FPI has raised enough money through collaboration with organizations like Facebook and others to be able to provide money for continuing clinical education,” said Michael D. Litten. The Foundation’s core belief is, as Horton said so succinctly and eloquently: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
