Michael D. Litten Presents Donation to St. Mary’s Hospital

Roswell, GA, – October 28th, 2019 – Today, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA, Michael D. Litten, Founder of the Foundation for Premature Infants, presented a donation to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The Foundation for Premature Infants donated $2,000 to be used for continuing education for the stellar group of clinicians who care for premature infants, the most fragile vulnerable little people. This is the first donation the Foundation has made to St. Mary’s Hospital’s NICU and the first donation to a hospital in the St. Mary’s Health Care System.  A big reason for the significant amount of the donation was the fact Rachel Arrington, the owner of Your CBD Store of Roswell cbdrx4u.com/find-us/georgia/Roswell gave the Foundation $1,000 specifically to be donated to the St. Mary’s NICU, where her twin grandsons were born.

Emily Lewis, St. Mary’s Foundation Development Coordinator, said, “Thank you SO much for your generous, generous donation.”

“I’m excited FPI has raised enough money through the generosity of folks, like Rachel, passionate about those without a voice, premature infants, to be able to make this donation,” said Michael D. Litten. The Foundation’s core belief is, as Horton said so succinctly and eloquently: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
