Roswell, GA – April 15th, 2024 – FPI board  member, Lisa Bader, OTR/L, CEIM and Founder of the Shape Right System www.shaperight.net, presented three $600 scholarships at the recent 2024 NANT conference https://neonataltherapists.com/annual-conference/  The awards will be used for attendance to the 2025 NANT conference. A heart felt thank you to Lisa for presenting the awards to: Angela Gallagher, SLP, Beacon Children’s Hospital, South Bend, IN, Heather Bowen, OTR/L, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, Grace Anillo, OTR/L,    Jersey City Med Center Barnabas Health, Jersey City, NJ.

The Foundation for Premature Infants donated the scholarships so these brilliant therapists can stay current regarding best practices on how to care for premature infants, the most fragile vulnerable little people. One of  the recipients, Grace Anillo said, “I’m still in awww that I won such a generous gift. . . so excited to go to NANT next year with a lot less financial stress. Thank you so much!”

“I’m excited FPI has raised enough money to be able to award these three scholarships,” said Michael D. Litten, Founder. The Foundation’s core belief is, as Horton said so succinctly and eloquently: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
