Foundation for Premature Infants Awards Four Scholarships

Roswell, GA – April 26th, 2022 – FPI was fired up to award four $800 scholarships to the recent 2022 Synova NICU Leadership Forum https://www.synovaassociates.com/nicu-leadership-forum. The following amazing miracle workers all hail from the Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA: Nicole M Lescota DNP, RNC-OB, C-EFM, VP of Nursing, Courtney L. Phillips RN, MSN, RNC-NIC, Clinical Staff Manager, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Isha Alibey, DNP, APRN, ACCNS-N, RNC-NIC, Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist, NICU, L&D, Mother/Baby, and Heather Goodall, Clinical Director of NICU and Neonatal Transport.

The Foundation for Premature Infants donated the scholarships so these brilliant clinicians can stay current regarding best practices on how to care for premature infants, the most fragile vulnerable little people. Lori Gunther, MS, CPXP, Chief Executive Officer, commented, “We had a great event last week… These nurses were so grateful to attend!  Grady has become such a wonderful supporter of Synova.

“I’m excited FPI has raised enough money to be able to award these four scholarships,” said Michael D. Litten, Founder. The Foundation’s core belief is, as Horton said so succinctly and eloquently: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
